Weekly Journal Inspiration

Weekly Journal Inspiration

Hello everyone! Here to spread out some ideas for your own journal for the week! Here’s my weekly spread starting on a Saturday:

April 4, 2020

It’s another day of quarantine… spent my day with my husband at home. I usually reflect a lot on current events and my emotions around that. I’ve listed a few topics to reflect on for you that I wrote about in my own spread. Hope that you find the topics relaxing and easy to reflect on.

Here’s a quick recipe for whipped iced coffee and get your journal on!

  • 1 tbsp instant coffee

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1/4 cup of hot water

  • 3/4 cup of milk

Whip the instant coffee, sugar, and 1/4 cup of hot water in a ninja bullet blender… ta-da! You have whipped iced coffee! Enjoy!

Topics to Reflect on…

current events

food & drinKs

tv shows

emotions

upcoming plans

April 6-7, 2020

My writing prompts for the two were driven by my to-do lists, reflections of past events, and emotions around the day. I also printed off two pictures to be the main focus of the page to depict what I was reminiscing about, which was my wedding (on the left) and my love for stationary (on the right).

Writing prompts for you:

  • What’s your daily routine on a Monday ?

  • What are you thankful for?

  • How are you currently feeling?

April 8, 2020

This spread was more focused on utilizing scraps of paper and tape, while capturing a glimpse of what occurred during my day. My writing prompt was driven by emotion as I was going through a rough day and ending the spread with some gratitude. I listed my accomplishments on the right lower left corner as a way to show gratitude despite of what had occurred throughout the day.

April 10-11, 2020

I wanted to end the spread with a lot of reflection. Some of the things I reflected on were:

  • accomplishments

  • emotions and how to cope with them

  • things to be thankful for

  • time spent to read and reflect

I hope you all enjoyed this weekly spread! What are some prompts that you found helpful? Feel free to leave comments below and see you until next time!

Happy Easter!
