Top 5 Amazon Products For Breast Pumping That Will Make It Easier
Hello loves!
It has definitely been awhile since I have written a post so I wanted to start off this post with a new journey that I have ventured to… motherhood! It has been quite an experience with plentiful ups and downs, but needless to say, it’s been joyful learning a whole new world for me. I’ve spent hours talking to other mothers and looking up tips from social media (Tik Tok mostly) on how to make this journey easy going and convenient. I’ll definitely give credit when it’s due as I go.
So breast pumping… where should I start? You’re probably reading this post because you’re curious as to what you should buy or where to even start. You may also be reading this post because you’re planning to either exclusively breast pump due to personal or work reasons. No matter your reason is, I hope you find this post helpful. By no means am I an expert in breast pumping… I want to repeat that motherhood is a whole new world for me! I quickly realized how much I didn’t know therefore, I wanted to share with you all some of the products that I purchased to make breast pump easy and less stressful. I figured why not put it in this post?! The goal I had set for myself was how to make my life easier when having to pump on the go. If you share the same goal, you’re in the right place!
So without having to lengthen this post and in no particular order, let’s get started!
Wireless Breast Pump
If you haven’t done so already, please get a good breast pump through your insurance for free. If you come across anything wireless, try to go with that. Because I didn’t know that wireless pumps existed and didn’t do my research whatsoever, I chose with the first pump I saw on the website, which was a Spectre Pump.
Don’t get me wrong! I continue to use the Spectre pump today if I want to get an “effective” pump (it works better than the wireless pump), but I was attached to the wall the whole time and made it so inconvenient when having to move around or pick up my baby. I knew I had to get something else.
I purchased the TSRETE Wireless Breast Pump for the convenience of simply being able to walk around. There are many other brands out there and I’ll list them below but this was the most affordable for me at the time of purchase.
Thank you to my friend Jill! She sent me the link to order my first pump. If you’re interested in ordering your breast pump through insurance, visit https://yummymummystore.com/insurance/insurance-pumps.html?insurer=1®ion=61

2. Breast Pump Bag with Cooler
This was a lifesaver! I had to go to an Immersion Weekend at Chicago for my Family Nurse Practitioner program and realized that I did not have a plan of how I was going to transport my pumped milk from Chicago to home. With that in mind, I was in search of a functional breastfeeding pump bag that looked cute at the same time.
I came across a cute bag by Gogoso and it helped me tremendously. I purchased it in gray and I pretty much brought it everywhere with me the whole weekend. It’s very lightweight and and transforms into a backpack. There’s a storage at the bottom where you can place your pumped milk and have multiple pockets inside for you to store other necessities. It also has a USB post on the side for you to easily charge your gadgets.

3. BeauGen Breast Pump Cushion
If you’ve been breastfeeding for awhile now or just getting started, you may have already find out that not all sizes of flange fits you. Whether you’re a 21mm or 24mm, this Beaugen Breast Pump Cushion helps provide that extra support to fit the size of your areola which in turn gives you an effective pump.
The comments state that you have to replace them frequently, but I have been using mine for over three weeks now and it is still working perfectly.
4. Glass Water Bottles or Jars
I am sure that you probably purchased Lansinoh bags to store your pumped milk, which is for sure the best way to store frozen breast milk. However, if you’re exclusively pumping and feeding your baby one day at a time, I personally recommend you purchase glass bottles or jars to store your milk in the fridge.
I was still new to the breast pumping game and found that opening bags every single time to make a bottle was so inconvenient. You can store up to 6 ounces per bag, which made me use more bags since I pumped 2 ounces at a time sometimes. Due to more cons than pros, I decided to transition to glass water bottles so that I can easily just pour my milk into a bottle. When it was time to freeze, I used the Lansinoh bags for storage.
5. Nipple Cream, Nipple Balm or Pumping spray
Pumping every 2 to 3 hours can not only be overwhelming, but also painful! I personally found it helpful to use nipple balm by Lansinoh to help make the process a bit more comfortable. There are also pumping sprays that you spray onto the pump flange but I personally preferred placing the nipple balm all over the areola.
Thank you all so much for taking the time out to read this post. I hope you all found this article helpful for your breast pumping journey as much as it helped me!
Sincerely,
